ALLAH IN ISLAM AND FAITH IN ALLAH

ALLAH IN ISLAM AND FAITH IN ALLAH

Allah, the Almighty, is the Lord of all worlds. All praise and glory, power and majesty, grandeur and supremacy belong solely to Him. Everything in the heavens and the earth belongs to Him. Our Lord possesses absolute power and infinite wisdom. He is the One who creates life and death, bestows sovereignty and ranks, elevates whomever He wills, and lowers whomever He wills. He is the Creator and continues to create. He is the One who gives life, provides sustenance, nourishes, and protects. He alone governs and rules over every aspect and every moment of life.

Faith in Allah is the first condition for being honored with Islam. Believing in Allah’s existence, His oneness, and that He has no equal, partner, or counterpart—accepting the concept of Tawhid—is the foundation of the principles of faith. The greatest right of our Lord, who created us from nothing and sustains us with countless blessings, is for us to believe in Him.

Faith in Allah requires adherence to the Prophet He sent and the Book He revealed, submission to His boundaries, and compliance with His commands. A believer does not view faith in Allah as mere words. On the contrary, faith in Allah necessitates recognizing our Lord through the verses of the Qur’an and the teachings of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and living life based on this belief. Faith in Allah gives meaning to a believer’s life, guides their thoughts and decisions, and influences their relationships with all beings, animate and inanimate. Thus, the faith that flows from a believer’s tongue and takes root in their heart is, in essence, a guarantee of goodness on earth.

A person who believes in Allah seeks His pleasure in all their actions. They uphold the rights of their family, relatives, neighbors, and those under their care. They fulfill every responsibility with a sense of trust and integrity.

A believer in Allah knows that even the smallest act of good or evil will inevitably have its recompense. They do not trade their Hereafter for worldly gains but live a life that can stand up to accountability.
