The Prophet in Islam

THE DETERMINATION OF DIVINE GUIDANCE FOR HUMANITY: PROPHETHOO

Almighty Allah, the creator, owner and judge of the entire universe, has made man an official in this part of the eternal world that we call the world and in which we live. It gave him the power to know, think and understand, the ability to separate good and evil, the ability to choose and use his will. He donated savings entitlements. In short, he gave him freedom and sent him to earth as his caliph.

In the basic sense, there are two sides in the world, right and falsehood, which a person can choose freely. The truth side represents the way of Allah, falsehood represents the way of Satan. Allah has sent divine messages as a guide to people so that man can find what is true and true, and prophets He has chosen from among himself who will show these messages to them by transmitting them and living at the same time. If a person chooses the first side, he will find peace and tranquility in the world and will achieve eternal comfort and happiness called paradise in the hereafter, which is an eternal life. But if he prefers the other way, the way of Satan, he will remain in difficulties in this world and will be punished with eternal restlessness and unhappiness called hell in the hereafter. It is called Islam for a person to use this preference given to him on the side of Allah.

The Judge of the Universe placed mankind in the world with this suggestion. To the first of the people (Hazrat. Adam and Eve) also gave some orders about how they should live on earth. These early people did not come into the world in the darkness of ignorance and ignorance. On the contrary, they were sent to the world with knowledge. They knew some facts. They had learned some of the rules of life. Their way of life was obedience to Allah, that is, Islam. They also ordered their children to be “muslim” (Muslim), that is, obedient to Allah.

The blessing of Islam has come to man from only two sources in every era. Firstly, the word of Allah, secondly, the prophets of Allah (may Allah’s peace be upon them). Those prophets who were commissioned by Allah-u Ta’ala not only to spread His word, announce and explain his commandments, but also to show how they are applied and how they can be an example to others. The first Prophet sent to the earth by Allah-u Ta’ala was Hazrat. Adam is the last prophet and Hazrat. He is Muhammad.

The prophets mentioned in the Noble Qur’an are:

1-Hz. Adam (a.s)
2- Hz. Idris (a.s)
3- hz. Noah (a.s.)
4- hz. Hud (a.s)
5-Hz. Salih (a.s)
6-Hz. Abraham (a.s)
7-Hz. Ishmael (a.s)
8- hz. Lot (a.s)
9-Hz. Isaac (a.s)
10-Hz. Jacob (a.s)
11-Hz. Joseph (a.s)
12-Hz. Job (a.s)
13-Hz. Shuaib (a.s)
14-Hz. Moses (a.s)
15-Hz. Aaron (a.s)
16-Hz. David (a.s)
17-Hz. Solomon (a.s)
18-Hz. Dhul-Kifl (a.s)
19-Hz. Elijah (a.s)
20-Hz. Elyesa (a.s)
21-Hz. Jonah (a.s)
22-Hz. Zechariah (a.s)
23-Hz. John (a.s)
24-Hz. Jesus (a.s)
Hz. Muhammad (s.a.v)
Apart from these, Hazrat. Üzeyr, Hazrat. Luqman and Hazrat. The names of Dhul-Qarnayn are also mentioned, and it is not known whether they are Prophets or not.

At the same time, the prophets are also responsible for supervising individuals and society, correcting the shortcomings of human life in order to achieve the goals set by the Qur’an. These two elements are so connected to each other like flesh and nails that if we separate them from each other, we will not be able to understand the true meaning of religion, nor will we be able to find the right path. If you have separated the Qur’an from the Messenger of Allah, you will not be able to get anywhere.

As in ancient times, in our age, a person can reach the blessing of Islam from these two sources, which have been going on since time immemorial. Firstly, the word of Allah, which can now only be found in the form of the Noble Qur’an, and secondly, the prophet Muhammad, which is now only the Prophet. Muhammad (s.a.v.) is hidden in his life and hadiths.

As always, today, a person can only understand the Noble Qur’an for the understanding of Islam. Muhammad and the Prophet. He can also arrive at Muhammad by comprehending him through the Noble Qur’an. A person who can understand both of them with the help of each other means that he has also been able to understand Islam. Otherwise, neither religion can be understood, nor the right path can be found.

The Noble Qur’an and the Prophet. Muhammad (s.a.v.) because their tasks are the same and they have the same purpose, our understanding of them in a real sense depends only on the degree to which we understand that task and purpose. If this fact is forgotten, the Noble Qur’an remains only a pile of words, and the Prophet Muhammad is just a life story and a chain of events.
